How North Star Neurotherapy Began
North Star Neurotherapy is the brainchild of Andrew Cudd and Erica Skidmore, two professionals deeply invested in mental health. Andrew, with a background in marriage and family therapy, got hooked on understanding the brain after reading "The Body Keeps the Score." This book opened his eyes to how life experiences can mess with our neurological pathways. His curiosity led him to Microcurrent Neurofeedback (MCN), a technology thoroughly backed by research that can help heal the brain from many issues that arise in our lives.
Erica, much like Andrew, has a solid background in mental health with over 20 years as a clinical psychologist who has seen her practice shift from therapy and assessment to now focusing on IASIS MCN. She shares his enthusiasm for helping others and finds it rewarding to see people leave the North Star offices in better spirits, ready to get back to their lives. Together, they decided to bring this innovative treatment to the communities of Chattanooga and Cleveland.
North Star is not traditional neurofeedback, but a new approach that focuses on transcranial stimulation. This is also not talk therapy, but rather a treatment that can provide relief from a range of issues that normal means of therapy may not be able to deal with. It is a place where people can go to heal, find relief, and move positively in life. It is a place where the power of Microcurrent Neurofeedback is harnessed to help people change their lives for the better.
Together, their team is committed to helping people get back on track, using MCN to make a real difference. The team at North Star Neurotherapy is here to help guide you back to the life you want to live.
